It's Never Too Much. A place to ramble about shit that probably doesn't mean anything to anyone other than me.

vinyladdictforlife:

Today Maurice Sendak passed away.

He created many great works from In The Night Kitchen to Little Bear. But above all else he wrote one of my favorite books. Where The Wild Things Are. While simple in it’s storytelling it has taught me any lessons that I have carried with me throughout my entire life. Most important of which is that no one is designed to be alone and that we could be the kings of our own world but without someone to share it with it is all meaningless.

This is one of many lessons Sendak taught that I believe children today need just as much as we did growing up. Maybe more. And that is the beauty of the work he did.

It is timeless. It will live forever. Because of this Maurice Sendak will live forever as long as we do our part to introduce him to generations to come.

Thank you Mr. Sendak for your work and the memories it has created in my own life and let me be the first of the wild things to say “Please don’t go. We’ll eat you up. We love you so.”

Rest In Peace.

I feel like someone has made a playlist of sadness fear anger and doubt and is playing it on repeat in my heart. It makes me so tired.

May the fourth be with you.
